Tổng quan về biến đổi khí hậu và bình đẳng giới (A review of climate change and gender equality)

Hiện nay, trên thế giới có nhiều bằng chứng về mối liên hệ giữa biến đổi khí hậu (BĐKH) và bình đẳng giới (BĐG). Một mặt, BĐKH làm nghiêm trọng những vấn đề bất bình đẳng giới (BBĐG), làm chậm tiến trình đạt được BĐG. Mặt khác, BBĐG có thể làm tồi tệ thêm những ảnh hưởng của BĐKH. Bài báo sử dụng những dữ liệu sẵn có trên các trang web để tổng hợp, phân tích thông tin về BĐG dưới các tác động trực tiếp của BĐKH và vấn đề lồng ghép giới trong các chính sách, hành động liên quan đến BĐKH, từ đó đưa ra một số khuyến nghị nhằm cải thiện vấn đề BĐG trong bối cảnh BĐKH, đồng thời làm cho các hành động và chính sách BĐKH được hiệu quả hơn.
English abstract
Existing literatures show that there are linkages between climate change and gender equality. On the one hand, climate change is likely to exacerbate existing gender inequalities and prohibit the progress towards gender equality. On the other hand, gender inequality can further worsen the effects of climate change. Using data available in the internet, this review aims at analyzing on information about gender equality under the direct impacts of climate change and gender mainstreaming in policy, action on climate change. Based on the results found, recommendations to improve gender equality in the context of climate change are made in order to contribute for more effective policies and actions on climate change.
